Privacy and data handling

HighlightOps collects only what is needed to review sources, create private draft assets, communicate with creators, operate plans, and improve the workflow.

Last updated: July 11, 2026. Plain-language early-access policy; not legal advice.

Information we collect

  • Creator/channel name, contact information, social/channel links, and business correspondence.
  • Submitted source links, uploaded/local files if provided, stream/VOD context, style notes, off-limits notes, and platform preferences.
  • Private draft assets, captions, transcripts, approval decisions, revision notes, and operational metadata.
  • Payment, plan, and subscription status from Stripe or another billing provider. Payment card details are handled by the billing provider, not HighlightOps.
  • Basic technical metadata such as browser user agent, approximate IP from hosting logs, timestamps, and submission references.

How we use information

  • Evaluate whether a source is accessible, in scope, and rights-clear enough to process.
  • Create private content drafts, captions, hooks, approval packets, reports, and delivery links.
  • Send operational updates, support replies, billing-status messages, and demo follow-ups.
  • Improve quality standards, workflow reliability, and internal review processes.

Vendors and processors

HighlightOps may use vendors such as Cloudflare for hosting/delivery, Stripe for billing, Google/Gmail for email, storage or transcription/rendering tools for fulfillment, and analytics/logging tools needed to operate the service. Vendor use is limited to operating HighlightOps and fulfilling creator requests.

Public use and sharing

HighlightOps will not post your content publicly or use your submitted assets as portfolio examples without separate approval. Private delivery links are intended for review, but unlisted links are not the same as cryptographic access control unless a specific signed/token-gated delivery method is used.

Retention

During early access, HighlightOps keeps source references, private drafts, approval records, and operational metadata as long as reasonably needed for fulfillment, support, quality control, accounting, legal/risk records, and service improvement. You may request deletion; some records may persist where required for billing, security, backups, dispute handling, or legal compliance.

Security

HighlightOps uses practical safeguards such as private queues, unlisted/noindex delivery paths, limited internal access, and approval records. No internet system is perfectly secure. Do not submit sources containing passwords, private addresses, sensitive personal information, or material you cannot risk having reviewed for fulfillment.

Minors and sensitive content

HighlightOps is not intended for children. Do not submit sensitive content, private conversations, minors, medical/legal/financial information, or material involving non-consenting people unless the scope and permission are clearly reviewed first.

Removal requests

Email [email protected] to request deletion of submitted links, private drafts, or operational records where feasible.
